About Hart Woodworks Studio

Wood has a story before it ever becomes a product.

The grain tells you where the tree grew, how the seasons changed, what the years looked like. At Hart Woodworks Studio, we try not to get in the way of that story — just shape it into something useful and beautiful.

I’m a self-taught woodworker based in Alberta, Canada. What began as curiosity — a few tools, some rough lumber, and a lot of trial and error — grew into something I couldn’t put down. There’s something deeply satisfying about taking a raw piece of wood and shaping it into something that will live in someone’s home for years.

We work with species like Red Cedar, Walnut, White Ash, and Black Limba — each chosen for its character and quality. We also make a point of using reclaimed offcuts wherever we can, because good wood shouldn’t go to waste.

Every piece is made by hand, one at a time. No two are exactly alike. A shoe horn by your door, a vase on your windowsill, a small wooden tree on your shelf — these aren’t just things. They’re a little bit of care and craft, made to last.

Thank you for being here. It means more than you know.
